This exceptional, Triple Black 914 2.0 was imported from California and registered in D in 2012. At that time, the VW Porsche was in stock condition. In 2014, a well-known VW and Porsche mechanic from Upper Bavaria acquired the vehicle and modified it according to his wishes and needs.
The mechanics were completely overhauled: Chassis, transmission, brakes and engine.
In the course of this, the displacement was increased to almost 2.1 litres, the valves were enlarged and the compression ratio was increased. The injection system was replaced by twin Weber 44IDF carburettors. The resulting power was 156.7hp at 5950 rpm and 210NM. In 2018, the power was increased again, the valves were enlarged once more and the compression ratio was raised a bit, as well as a BURSCH exhaust system was installed. Power is now conservatively estimated at 170hp. The 914 is absolutely suitable for everyday use and drives incredibly sporty when this is demanded of it. No comparison to a standard 2.0 VW Porsche.
The stock 2.0Liter Fuchs alloy wheels are present and can be purchased with it. Currently the car is equipped with SSP Fuchs style rims 5,5×15 and adapter spacers.
All modifications are registered and the 914 has H-approval. On request, we send the material list of the installed new parts, as well as an engine data sheet. Performance diagrams, as well as Classic data certificates, are available.
A suitable vehicle to drive at all oldtimer rallies in front and faster and zippier than most 356 and 911 of the 60s and 70s.
The interior is very good, but not quite perfect, the same applies to the paintwork, which has at least 15 years on the hump.
An exceptionally good car inside and out with a lot of punch. As if it just builds one for himself, who knows how to do it.
