The infamous Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6, otherwise known by her appearance in the exhilarating movie “Bad Boys” starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence.
With only 1.437 examples ever made out of the 62.000 or so 964’s, it is no question the rarity of such a gem. Our example being delivered new in Midnight Blue Metallic, which is believed to be less than 10% of the production with Green and Purple variants.
Driven you say? Well, let’s just say this old girl has a story to tell… Currently at 248.000km.
Ordered NEW by Mr Moret, a Parisian business owner on the 19th of April 1993, at Loire Auto Porsche. Specified in Midnight Blue Metallic over Marine Blue Leather and sporting a sunroof. Delivery expected for end of January 1994, and as the Germans do, delivered on the 17th of January 1994. And off she goes embarking on a 24 year journey with her first owner!
How do we know all this? Well, we have a history file like no other, with the original order form and every service ever conducted, dating back to September 1995!
Most owners used to shop around for the best deal or as the vehicles changed hands, and traveled, found themselves being serviced nationally and globally. Mr Moret, a true loyal customer serviced and repaired his pride and joy at Porsche “Sonauto” Levallois throughout her whole life, 19 times to be precise! Invoices on file by Mr Moret alone, exceed 55.000€ in 24 years!
By April of 2018, Mr Moret decides to let go of his Turbo 3.6 to a new custodian based out of the South of France! A long way from the Paris city life she endured all her life. Now requiring recommissioning and some TLC due to mileage, as well as wear and tear items, over 25.000€ is spent on the likes of new Turbos and Porsche GTS San Remo conduct the work.
Having owned the car for over 3 years and giving her a new lease of life, she finds a new home with an avid collector in 2021, who loves her story! She is driven for school runs, business meetings and short European trips, until it is decided to give her a mechanical refresh at Porsche Gstaad for over 28.000€!
