The Porsche Taycan represents a turning point in the history of Porsche. Stemming from the Mission E concept, unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2015, it was unveiled in its final version four years later, in the fall of 2019. The result is a car that has fully retained the philosophy of the German brand. The look is futuristic, with, for example, three digital screens in the cabin, the chassis is extraordinary, the car has four-wheel drive and a two-speed transmission, with a short first gear.
The two electric motors of the Taycan Turbo S develop a combined power of 761 hp and 1,050 Nm of torque, using the overboost function. This means that the car can reach 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, with a top speed of 260 km/h. The maximum range of the Taycan Turbo S is estimated at 468 km.
With the Ionity charging network, in which Porsche is a partner, the battery can be recharged from 5% to 80% of its capacity in just 22 and a half minutes. Two other charging systems (AC and DC) are compatible. Porsche seems to have favored a very natural driving experience, close to that of a thermal car. Indeed, on the Taycan, lifting the foot off the gas pedal does not result in a sudden slowdown.

En effet, sur la Taycan, un lever de pied de l’accélérateur ne se traduit pas par un ralentissement brusque.
