Originally imported new by Pon’s Automobielhandel in Amersfoort, Netherlands to a WWII US Army Air Force veteran on March 13, 1970, with 14,xxx kilometers on the odometer. #2425 was then shipped to University Porsche|Audi in Seattle, Washington, and remained with the first owner for approximately four (4) decades. Spending many of the later years in storage, a refurbishment was carried out between 2009 and 2011 to return the 911 to the road. On November 13, 2009, at 39,110 mi, Chris’ Car Service, in Washington replaced the fuel lines, ignition points, air filters, throttle linkage, performed a valve adjustment, brake work, adjusted the distributor, and replaced the windshield, which totaled to $5,459.46. In 2011, the second owner, Mr. Andersen, purchased the 911T and had Squire Autowerke in Bellevue, Washington update the chain tensioners, replace chain guides, reseal the thermostat, replace output shaft seals, replace mains shaft seals, and installed a new clutch which totaled to $5,975.42. The third owner purchased the car in 2012 and commissioned Jim’s Restoration in Sheridan, Colorado to perform a bare-metal repaint in the factory color of Bahia Red. Shortly thereafter, SSI heat exchangers and a new Dansk muffler were fitted in 2013, and new Bilstein shocks were installed in 2016. Most recently, a service in March 2020 included changing the oil and adjusting the valves.
