The vehicle in detail

The car was delivered to its first owner on November 4, 1983 by a VW/Porsche dealer in San Juan, Capistrano in California.
It remained in 1st hand until 1986. In October 1986, the second owner bought the car and kept it until 2018.
In 2018 the car came to Germany.
In July 2020, the car received a major inspection. As a stud bolt was broken, the engine was partially overhauled, 24 Dilavar stud bolts were installed, the cylinder heads overhauled, the clutch replaced and the chain tensioners and slide rails renewed.
We have the invoice.

In spring 2021, we bought the car on behalf of a customer.
In the last 4 years, in addition to a major inspection, the injection control electronics have also been overhauled and the tires renewed.

The car is in its original paintwork except for the rear and engine flap.
It is therefore also accident-free.

We have the purchase contracts as well as a file folder with invoices dating back to 1985.
In addition to this first-class documentation in paper form, we have the original checkbook folder with a complete original checkbook.

The interior is completely original, the carpet and the leather of the seats are immaculate.

I contacted the second owner, Martha Higgins in California, in 2021.
She was happy to hear about the whereabouts of her car and told me that she drove the car with fur covers and extra inlay mats to preserve the leather and the original carpet. She also avoided leaving the car in the sun, which is probably why the original paintwork is in such good condition.

Platinum metallic with the silk gray leather suits the car very well.
