The vehicle in detail

Originally delivered to Edward Panzer of Claremont, California, through Catron Porsche | Audi in Pomona, California, with 56 miles at delivery. Early dealer-stamped maintenance record booklet, document service from 1,548 to 24,273 miles between 1970 and 1971. In 1978, Mr. LaFleur became the second owner and used the 911E regularly until it was placed into storage in 1994. The third owner, Mr. Boeggeman, acquired the 911E with the intent to restore it, but soon passed it on to the fourth owner, Mr. Shufflebarger, who initiated a careful revival.

Under Mr. Shufflebarger’s ownership, the 911E received a bare-metal, windows-out repaint in its original color Pastel Blue. In 2014, P3 AutoKrafte performed a complete engine rebuild, incorporating all new internal components and upgraded to Carrera chain tensioners. At the same time, the suspension and braking systems were rebuilt.

In 2016, P3 AutoKrafte completed additional mechanical work, including:
• New sway bar links and arms
• Parking brake system overhaul
• Fuel system refreshed with new fuel pump and lines
• The braking system was rebuilt, including the master cylinder and brake lines
• Installation of four Fuchs wheels
• New engine bay insulation
• Refurbished fuel tank with new seals
• Throttle body recalibration

By 2023, the 911E had passed to its fifth owner, who entrusted GA Kundensport of Santa Paula, California, with mechanical and cosmetic enhancements to refine functionality and appearance further.

Powered by the matching 2.2-liter flat-six mechanical fuel injection (MFI) engine, rated at 155 horsepower at 6,200 rpm (Type 911/01), mated to a 5-speed manual dog leg transmission (Type 901) with a four-wheel braking system. Most recently, on August 29, 2024, V&S Motors LLC performed compression and leak-down testing with excellent results: Compression: 150lbs, 152lbs, 154lbs, 155lbs, 153lbs, 155lbs, and the Leak-down of 3%, 3%, 3%, 1%, 2%, 1%
