This example is from the second generation and from the 2004 model year and came to Sweden already in 2006 and has been used sparingly throughout all these years. Exterior in solid black with the contemporary and model-specific 18″ rims that became synonymous with the model. The exterior is soft in its shapes and sits low and aggressively over the rims. The right attitude for a GT car. The biggest visual difference to a regular Carrera is undeniably the wing over the rear. Open the door and you are met with a contemporary 996 interior in black but you are immediately struck by the fact that the car has been on a diet. Shell seats upholstered in nomex flame-retardant material with sewn-in Porsche emblems in the headrests together with a half-cage from Porsche’s Tequipment program and a set of six-point belts that run through the driver’s seat. The driving environment is spartan and raw with a three-spoke thin steering wheel that fits perfectly in the hand
