Elferspot ends 2025 with new records and implements additional language
09.01.2026By Richard Lindhorst
Elferspot continued its growth trajectory in its eighth year since founding. The leading online marketplace for classic and used Porsche sports cars recorded new highs in supply, demand and sales, and reached new target groups thanks to the addition of another platform language.
25 per cent more listings
31 per cent more inquiries
Almost 3,000 Porsche sports cars with a total value of €374.4 million marketed via Elferspot
Growth in all areas: more supply, more demand, more sales
2025 was a record year for the Linz-based company. All key figures improved significantly once again compared to the previous year. A good 25 per cent more vehicle listings were published on Elferspot in 2025. The total number of inquiries from potential buyers to sellers rose even more sharply. Here, the online marketplace recorded an increase of 31 per cent. One reason for this is the 35 per cent growth in Elferspot’s user count.
This development is also reflected in the trading volume on the marketplace. After vehicles worth a good €260 million found a new garage via Elferspot in 2024, this figure increased significantly again in 2025. Around 3,000 Porsches sold via Elferspot with a total value of €347.4 million represent an increase of 33 per cent compared to 2024.
Elferspot is constantly bringing together more buyers and sellers of used Porsche sports cars thanks to its clear focus on their needs. This is made possible by a highly motivated team that is constantly developing the platform. Anyone looking for a Porsche wants to do so in a high-quality and intuitive environment. That’s exactly what we offer.
Markus Klimesch, Elferspot founder und majority owner
Focus firmly on internationalisation of the Porsche market – Dutch as third platform language
The 48-year-old entrepreneur sees consistent international orientation as another key factor. “Many of our customers now sell large parts of their vehicle portfolios beyond their respective national borders. Our vision is to make this global market for used and classic Porsche sports cars more transparent and accessible. Language plays a key role in this, of course,” says Klimesch. “With Dutch as a new language, we are now giving parts of the already very strong community in the Benelux countries the opportunity to use Elferspot in their native language.”
Elferspot is now also available in Dutch. Further languages are to come.
This makes access even easier for enthusiasts and dealers in the region – both on the marketplace and in the editorial magazine. Extensive technical adjustments were necessary in the background: data structures for tens of thousands of car listings, equipment details, search and editorial content were expanded so that they can be used flexibly in multiple languages and scaled cleanly in the future. The aim is to consistently break down language barriers and gradually open up the platform to further markets. “In this way, we are enabling more and more people to access the market and opening up new regions for our customers,” concludes Klimesch.
