Attention Porsche transaxle fans! Here is a super fun 944 Turbo that has been modified for track use. This 1986 model year 944 is a factory Turbo that was modified in 2007-2009 into a race car for the owners of World Motors of Scottsdale, AZ. The engine was said to have been rebuilt and a later K26-8 turbo fitted and other mods include: Rouge Engineering Stage III clutch, lexan windows fitted, Step headers, Sparco driver seat and 6pt harness, Sparco quick-release suede steering wheel and Sparco shift knob, Porterfield brake pads, cross-drilled brake rotors, stainless lines, 18-inch 996 Turbo Twist wheels with H&R spacers, 3-inch exhaust pipe, bigger sway bars, adjustable strut tower bar, aluminum intercooler, Lindsey Racing air box, silicone hoses, adjustable Koni shocks, full roll cage, battery kill switch, push-button start, custom white Autometer “Phantom” gauge cluster, Sparco fire extinguisher, and a one-piece front clamshell bonnet. The entire car was painted white and the interior was sprayed in a white texture finish. The sunroof was deleted as were the front lamps, wipers, heater etc.
