997.2 Targa 4S
With its distinctive, model-specific flowing arc, characterized by bright trim elements, the subtly striking concept of the Targa allows you to enjoy the open air while retaining the characteristic coupé proportions of the 911, which are further emphasized by the iconic and fascinatingly expansive "wide body" at the rear. The Targa further enhances functionality, as the rear glass cover can be opened like a tailgate, revealing a parcel shelf that can be used even more effectively when the rear seat backs are folded down (e.g., two golf bags plus luggage). The charm of the Targa is even more apparent in the interior, where the virtually seamless glass roof offers a panoramic view and contributes to the unique driving experience of the 911. The special feature of this model lies in its rarity: production of the 997 Targa began in 2006 and ended in 2012 with around 5,888 units leaving Stuttgart as Targa 4S models. Only 2,560 units of the 997.2 Targa 4S were sold worldwide.
The vehicle was only ever driven in the summer and in recent years it has been stored in a special classic car garage during the winter. This winter was no exception. For this reason, the vehicle cannot be viewed or sold until April 1, 2026.
Over the last few years, more than €7,400 has been invested in the vehicle. For example, the highly susceptible PCM control unit (onboard computer/navigation) had to be replaced with an original part and recoded (€3,400).
