The Porsche Cayman is renowned for its mid-engine concept. The weight distribution is ideal and it is light, the ideal combination making it a truly fantastic sports car. One drawback: it always lacked power for such a great chassis…

After years of speculation, it finally happened. Porsche finally dropped a 4.0-liter engine into the Cayman, dubbed the GT4. With 420 hp and a weight of 1,450 kg, it is a truly very special Porsche. Everything has been modified on this GT4. The chassis, for example, sits 30 mm lower than a standard Cayman, the brakes are from the Porsche 911 GT3, and it features a Porsche Torque Vectoring System including a mechanical limited-slip differential on the rear axle. In short, a top-tier beast.

Truly a fantastic combination and a great Porsche for beautiful mountain drives through Europe.
