Model history

The Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 marked the final expansion stage of the classic G-series before the transition to the Type 964. Produced between 1984 and 1989, the 3.2 received an enhanced 3.2-litre six-cylinder boxer engine with 231 hp, which impressed in terms of both performance and reliability. The striking appearance with the typical bellows bumpers was retained, while the chassis and braking system were improved. Today, the Carrera 3.2 is one of the most popular classic 911s - it combines purist driving pleasure with technology suitable for everyday use and is a coveted collector's item, especially as an air-cooled Porsche.
