The body of the convertible is accident-free and glossy black: the paintwork of the Porsche shows normal signs of wear and tear caused by age. After all, the Porsche still has its original paintwork apart from a repainting of the passenger door. The front and rear bumpers and the headlights are free of any cracks. The convertible top is black and is in a damage-free and watertight condition – the plastic rear window also has no cracks. No rust can be found on the body.
In terms of rim technology, there are original Fuchsalufalu rims of size 7Jx15 on the front axle and 8Jx15 on the rear axle of the 911. In contrast to the black exterior color, a gray interior welcomes you when entering the interior: you can see the gray full leather seat, the dashboard and the door panels are also gray. The gear knob is black and shows no extraordinary signs of wear. No stains can be seen on the interior carpet. The equipment of the Porsche 911 Cabriolet includes air conditioning (which was freshly filled in September 2021), electrically adjustable seats with heated seats, green wedge windshield, electric windows and an original Porsche wind deflector. The equipment combination in this convertible consisting of the electric hood, air conditioning and ruffled leather are particularly rare.
A look at the armada of round instruments in the Porsche reveals a total mileage of 145,100 kilometers. All instruments in the interior are perfectly functional.
The six-cylinder boxer engine with 231 hp has a displacement of 3.2 liters. After retrofitting the catalytic converter, the engine output is now 207 hp (152 kW). In 2004, a catalytic converter was retrofitted directly at Porsche, in July 2021 a major inspection with replacement of all fluids and filters took place, the cylinder cover gasket and the oil hoses were replaced, and the Porsche was given a new battery. The original G50 gearbox has five gears and can be shifted through crisply. Apparently there are no defects in the area of the drive train, pending repairs cannot be carried out according to the current owner.
The underbody of the Porsche 911 Cabriolet is in a clean condition: there are no traces of furious corrosion to be found here, and the state of preservation can be described as very good in view of the mileage.
