The car is a one of the seven Sepia Brown RS produced (one of the rarest color) and remained with its original owner for approximately 43 years, at the beginning of which it was repainted black and. It is powered by a 2.7-liter flat-six equipped with a new replacement case when the case broke. The change had been performed by the Almeras Brothers (911 MONTE CARLO AND TOUR DE CORSE WINNERS, NDLR) and is unstamped, unmarked and properly invoiced and documented. The 915 five-speed transaxle and the car itself are 100% matching and all the stamps, welds etc … have been assessed and verified as authentic and never touched by world best RS specialist. The car has never been raced and never been crashed. It is – apart from its black paint – probably the most original 2.7 RS in existence, as all documents from day 1 are coming with the car. The two keyes, the service book fully stamped until its last page, all the manuals, the engine bay decals etc … The car is is a sort of diva which has been used on several books covers, on advertising pages for Megyars and published in numerous Porsche magazines. I purchased it in 2016 from its owner, and an extensive service work has been performed in November 2024 for over 18 000 € by the Porsche Classic Center Paris (probably the best in France). They replaced the oil cooler and lines and serviced the brakes, which are originals and numerous other details including doo hinges, etc … The car is sold with its original Touring parts, its 1973 « car cover”, and a big box containing all the literature and memorabilia attached to the car. You also need to know that recently passed away singer songwriter Chris Rea fell in love with my car and wrote and recorded a song – never released – for « her ». And this song on a CD also comes with the car. Needless to say tires are almost new and there is nothing to do to the car which has, in the meantime, never been restored.
Also, the Sepia Brown paint appear in some spot and I never completely made up my mind on rubbing the black to retrieve the original paint underneath or repainting it. Which is still a possibility over a 2 months mission …
