From 2017 to 2020, the car underwent extensive mechanical work. In 2018, the engine was opened up to the center case, with components such as bearings, seals, chain tensioners, injectors, and the timing system renewed. In 2020, the engine was professionally tuned by Turmgarage in Kleve. The Bosch K-Jetronic was overhauled, and items such as the fuel pump, accumulator, vacuum system, and ignition were serviced.
The brakes, tie rods, shifter linkage, and various suspension parts were also restored or replaced.
The car is in good mechanical condition, drives as it should, and retains its matching numbers and original color. The interior remains largely original with some wear, but presents nicely. Notable features include electric windows, electric sunroof, and the original turbo (whale tail) spoiler. It rides on original 15” Fuchs Carrera wheels and has green-tinted heat-insulating glass.
What sets this Carrera apart is the exceptionally complete documentation: original invoices, old US titles, and a detailed ownership history, along with the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and a full photo record of the restoration work.
An honest, rust-free, and mechanically strong 2.7 Carrera. Rare, well-documented, and ready for an enthusiast who values originality and provenance
