Porsche 911
Highlights
- Recently Restored
- First Year of 911 Production
- Matching Numbers Engine & Transmission
Photographed here, our 1965 Porsche 911 is finished in its correct specification of Light Ivory over a Tan leather interior. With its production beginning prior to the summer break of ’65 and completion in August of that year, chassis 302161 did not receive a U.S. until March of 1967, which indicates a strong possibility that this was a factory/dealer demonstration vehicle. Having been recently restored, this beautiful early 911 is accompanied by its original owner’s manuals and a copy of the Kardex. It is a matching numbers example, with its 2.0L Flat-6 and 5-speed manual 901 gearbox having been rebuilt during the restoration. All-in-all, this is an amazing opportunity to own one of the earliest 911s produced.
