The car is almost completely in its original condition, has not been restored, and still has much of its original paintwork. Even the Fuchs rims are the same as when the car was first delivered. The targa roof is also original, fits very well, and provides a pleasantly quiet ride. The built-in Blaupunkt radio is also in keeping with the spirit of the times.
The 911 was imported from California to Europe in 2015 and has been in my possession ever since. The color combination of salmon diamond metallic (original color) and dark blue interior gives the car an extremely elegant appearance. This combination is extremely rare—I have never seen it a second time. As a result, it often attracts attention and interested conversation at Porsche workshops and classic car events. Even Singer was inspired by this color scheme and developed the Singer Porsche Targa Luxembourg based on it.
The equipment includes the original operating manual, the original tools, and the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Technically, the car impresses with its 2.7-liter engine delivering 150 hp.
- The engine was completely overhauled in 2019, and since then the vehicle has only been driven a few thousand kilometers.
- The brakes and brake calipers have recently been completely replaced.
- The 5-speed transmission shifts precisely and flawlessly.
- In addition, the car has a chassis optimization with turbo tie rods and adjustable axle swords.
An extremely rare, original, and excellently preserved example from the first year of production of the G-series—ideal for collectors and connoisseurs.
