One of the rare Porsche 911 L Coupés. This version was only offered in 1968, the last year of the original short wheelbase (SWB) and is therefore of particular interest to collectors.
The vehicle is currently undergoing an extensive full restoration, during which the body has been completely stripped of paint and all components are being restored from the ground up, down to the last screw. The rare and beautiful original body color blue metallic was used again for the repainting. The interior was black ex works.
The restoration also extends to the engine, gearbox and Weber carburetors. The vehicle has the original engine and 5-speed gearbox, both of which have already been overhauled and are awaiting installation.
In addition to the reassembly, the saddlery work still needs to be done and some trim parts overhauled or replaced.
Every step of the restoration is recorded in a photo documentation. With 12-month warranty and valuation report. The mileage refers to the mileage after restoration and test drives.
The photos show the painted bodywork, ready for assembly.
If you join the project now, you can accompany the assembly and realize your wishes regarding the interior and other features. This beautiful classic 911 will be "your" Porsche right from the start.
