In addition to the major development involving the lengthening of the 911’s wheelbase for the 1969 model year (MY 1969), there are notable updates such as the laminated windshield, heated rear window, new heating system, etc.As for the S version, it features Bosch mechanical fuel injection, which adds 10 horsepower. It now develops 170 hp at 6,800 rpm and 18.5 mkg of torque at 5,500 rpm (compression ratio of 9.9:1).Performance is slightly improved, with a top speed of 225 km/h.
