Between 2015 and late 2020, the car underwent a full restoration with no expenses spared. It has barely been driven since, but has been carefully maintained throughout. The matching-numbers engine was completely rebuilt in 2017 by Turmgarage in Kleve, Germany. The setup and first start were also carried out there. Key systems such as vacuum, ignition, warm-up control, and the Bosch K-Jetronic were also overhauled. The HKZ ignition, clutch, and braking system were all renewed.
The interior was retrimmed using original pinstripe velour fabric combined with black vinyl. The gauges feature subtle, clear LED backlighting so no more failing instruments, but with the authentic feel. The bodywork is straight, galvanized, and fitted with new seals throughout. The original silver metallic paint (code 936) presents beautifully after a professional respray.
Factory options include air conditioning, 15″ ATS ‘Hackmesser’ wheels, reinforced sport dampers, cruise control, sports steering wheel, center console, and electric windows. (codes 399, 400, 402, 454, 565, 590, 651). The cruise control and AC aren’t connected but all parts present.
A particularly complete and mechanically strong 911S, matching numbers, fully restored, and ready for a drive!
