The vehicle in detail

The vehicle was delivered by Porsche on September 14, 1967, as the 20th 911 T Targa ever built. The vehicle was handed over to an American PanAm flight captain in Berlin. This was obviously part of the "Porsche Tourist Delivery" program, as the vehicle was not registered until the end of February 1968. It is likely that this registration took place in the USA, where the vehicle remained until its reimport in 2020. In 2020, the vehicle was purchased by its previous owner and underwent a comprehensive body restoration.

Since 2023, the car has been in the hands of a Porsche enthusiast in southern Germany, who had further extensive restoration work carried out at a cost of approximately EUR 50,000. To document its history, there is a copy of the original Kardex (Porsche manufacturer's certificate from the year of manufacture) as well as a Porsche birth certificate. Since its restoration, the vehicle has clocked up approximately 4,600 km. The odometer has been reset to 0 km. The entire interior has been upgraded to S specification (with the exception of the instrumentation and aluminum trim).

The steering wheel is an exceptionally well-preserved original leather steering wheel (rare). The seats are original RECARO "S" ideal seats, correct for the model year, identical on the left and right. The seats have been restored true to the original with braided grain interior parts (mirror and seat surface) and the correctly perforated seat bolsters. The engine and transmission have been completely overhauled.
