Model history
The Porsche 912E was produced exclusively for the US market in the 1976 model year and is now considered one of the rarest examples of the 911 body. It combined the proven 911 body with the robust 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine from the VW-Porsche 914, making it a particularly well-balanced and practical classic car. Due to the small number of only 2,099 vehicles produced and the short production period, the 912E is now very popular with collectors.
