VEHICLE HISTORY
This 928 S4 was produced on March 26, 1987, and then delivered for the first time via the Porsche Center in Kassel. The car remained with its first owner until 1995, with its second owner until 2002, and finally with its third owner until 2025. This year, the car joined our customer base, and we are now offering this 928 for sale to its current and fourth owner. Its entire history, including maintenance history, is fully documented. Even the old vehicle registration document from the 1990s and the original owner's manual with service history are still available.
MODEL HISTORY
The Porsche 928 was introduced in 1977 as a modern Gran Turismo with a front-mounted V8 engine and transaxle layout, setting new standards in comfort, driving dynamics, and aerodynamics. The basic model was followed in 1980 by the 928 S with an enlarged 4.7-liter engine delivering up to 300 hp and a sportier look. In the mid-1980s, a technically advanced transitional version appeared, paving the way for the 928 S4. The 928 S4, introduced in 1987, was the first major revision of the series: with revised aerodynamic elements, an integrated rear wing, a modernized interior, and a new 5.0-liter 32-valve V8 with 320 hp, it was considered significantly more mature, more comfortable, and at the same time more powerful. The S4 was followed by the sportier 928 GT and, from 1992, the even wider and most powerful 928 GTS, which completed the model series until 1995.

TECHNICAL CONDITION
This 928 S4 is characterized by its particularly good maintenance condition. The S4 has been regularly serviced and underwent major maintenance last year at a Porsche center in southern Germany at a mileage of 133,786 km, including a new water pump and timing belt. With one exception, the service book contains only Porsche service stamps.
BODYWORK & PAINT
Another special feature of this 928 S4 is the good condition of the bodywork and the fact that this almost 40-year-old car still has its original paintwork. The paint finish is extremely even, with an average value of 145 µ at a total of 44 measuring points. All measured values were between 115 µ and 181 µ.
INTERIOR
The interior is also in very original condition with few signs of wear. It even still has the original Blaupunkt radio. Another special feature of this 928 is that it does not have a sunroof, which means it offers plenty of headroom, especially for tall drivers.
HANDOVER
This 928 S4 is being sold on behalf of a customer with a new TÜV certificate, completed H-approval, and a current valuation report for classic car insurance.
