1989 S4 Auto Expertly maintained by Greg and Kyle Brown at Precision Motorwerks in Orange, CA. Driven weekly for the past 10 years. Purchased in April 2015 @ 30k miles from a large collection. Driven regularly with approx 3k miles per year since 2015. All the issues of a low mileage Porsche 928 have all been addressed: Recent motor mounts, Top end refresh in 2016,  new timing belt and new Valve covers/gaskets in 2025. New Constantine Thrust Bearings and Super Clamp, upgraded rebuilt “Greg Brown” 968 Alternator. “Greg Brown” complete set of fuel line replacements(2018). Fuel pump repair, rebuilt smog pump. Shift modulator adjustment and new K1 spring for quicker yet smooth shifts.

The vehicle in detail

Notable features introdiced in the1989 S4 are the first year of the digital dash, revised intermediate gears and a lower final drive ratio, and higher full-throttle shift points. This makes the car quicker off the line and has an excellent passing 3rd gear on the freeway.
