Racing-specific details/features of the CS:
Weight reduction: By eliminating unnecessary weight, the 968 CS was made 50 kg lighter than the base model.
NO airbag steering wheel, no air conditioning, no EFH, no rear seat / 2-seater, no trunk lock – opening from the inside with a pull, no insulation in the engine compartment and transmission, no rear speakers, manual window cranks, reduced audio equipment (front speakers only), no rear windshield wiper and no airbag.
The chassis is tuned more firmly and lowered (20 mm).
The 968 CS comes standard with the popular 17" Cup wheels 7.5 + 9×17 and mirrors (manual) in Cup design, as well as a three-spoke sports steering wheel from Atiwe.
The standard seats are replaced ex-factory with lightweight bucket seats from the 964 RS (N/GT) (see MNR codes)!

The Porsche 968 CS is a sporty and lightweight Porsche that is ideal for racing and sporty driving on the road. Its special equipment and weight reduction make it a unique model in Porsche history.
The 968 CS was ordered as a Targa, which is very rare for the CS!
1 of 306 CS "Targa" models built, of which, according to research, very few ( approx. 50!) were delivered to the German market!
Instead of the red rims that were standard on the CS, the rims were ordered/delivered in silver, and the model designation on the rear was omitted.
This makes my 968 CS a very special model!
