Porsche Boxster 987 2.7 Tiptronic – 2005 – Arctic Silver Metallic – Top End Rebuild

For sale: a 2005 Porsche Boxster 987, finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and combined with the original silver OEM Porsche Carrera S II 19-inch rims. The color scheme gives the Boxster a timeless and classic look. The car was originally delivered in Germany via Porsche Zentrum Aachen on March 4, 2005 and imported to the Netherlands in 2012. Booklets and invoices are present.
In November 2025, the engine was extensively tackled at Porsche specialist Auto Resto Nijmegen. A top end rebuild was carried out, using the improved 2008 bottom block with the large type bearing. This makes this engine less susceptible to the well-known IMS problems.

The vehicle in detail

During this work, the following work was carried out, among other things:

• Engine completely disassembled at the top
• Cylinder heads rebuilt and renewed
• Two cylinder heads renewed
• Four camshafts renewed
• Crankshaft seal replaced
• Various engine gaskets renewed • Cylinder
head gaskets replaced
• Engine carefully cleaned and rebuilt
• Oil and filter replaced Since the top end rebuild, approximately 1,000 km have been driven. After the complete engine rebuild, the engine runs smoothly and powerfully, with a direct response, very fun to drive.

At the end of November 2025, a Carnewal GT exhaust was also installed. This provides a beautiful and characterful sound: quiet and civilised during normal driving, sporty and lively at higher revs.

In the past six months, more than €11,000 has been invested in the car, fully demonstrable with invoices.
The Boxster drives like a Porsche should: light-footed, stable and direct. The Tiptronic 5-speed automatic transmission shifts smoothly and can be operated manually via buttons on the steering wheel, which pleasantly combines comfort and sportiness. The car is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport N2 tires, which provide excellent grip.

The interior is finished in stone gray leather and has been neatly maintained. It suits the car well and looks fresh and well-maintained. The car has a Dutch registration. A Boxster that is ready for a lot of driving pleasure.
