Due to downsizing my collection, I would like to sell my 987 Spyder.
This is the first generation Spyder, which was built in limited numbers from 2009 to 2011. Porsche estimates that only 1,944 units of the 987 Spyder were built.
The Spyder was designed as a purist driving machine. Various lightweight components such as aluminum doors and hoods, an emergency soft top (sun sail), carbon folding bucket seats, and the lightweight Spyder 19-inch wheel set resulted in a total weight of only 1,350 kg (in the PDK version).
My car was delivered to its first owner in Belgium in April 2010. At the end of 2015, the Boxster changed hands for the first time (also in Belgium). In December 2021, this owner traded in the Spyder for a 991 Coupe in Germany. I bought the car with 83,000 km on the clock.
The equipment in my Spyder consistently follows the lightweight construction concept – there is no air conditioning or navigation system on board.
The carbon folding bucket seats and the beguiling sound from the original Porsche flap exhaust system ensure pure driving pleasure.
The car is part of a small collection, was only driven in good weather, and otherwise stood covered in the garage. All maintenance work was always carried out in accordance with the Porsche maintenance schedule, including changing the PDK transmission oil.
Serious inquiries should be made by email.
