The 911 Targa 4 isn’t a pure track monster, but it is a true all-rounder. It sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in around 4.5 seconds, and its top speed approaches 285-290 km/h (177-180 mph). The Targa package adds something special: the roof offers an open-air feel without the vulnerability of a classic convertible. The glass rear window folds up, the soft top folds away automatically—all seamless, fast, and impressive.
There’s something more generous about the Targa shape. The famous Targa bar, the unique roof mechanism, the combination of open-top driving and a coupé silhouette—all give the car character. There’s room for two in the back, though comfort is less extravagant than in the front. The handling balances sportiness with refinement: sharp enough to carve corners, supple enough for long distances.
