This example is specified in Shade Green Metallic. A color that we first saw on Porsche’s 992 Dakar but which is combined here with black center-bolt rims in GTS design. The exterior feels very much like the 992 .1 but there are of course differences. At the front, the car has a new look with completely new air control and active slats and for the first time headlights that include position lights and indicators. Here in HD-Matrix design. At the rear, the car has a new light bar in a sharper design. At the bottom edge we have a centrally positioned sports exhaust that provides a sound that is actually more emphasized than before. The interior is in black leather and alcantara and is not entirely unexpected in GTS costume. In front of the driver is a ‘GT’ steering wheel with carbon fiber inserts and a ‘drive-mode-switch’ and just behind is a fully digital driver environment. In the headrest of the sports seats we find the GTS emblem sewn in.
The days of turbo lag and unstable handling are long gone. The new 992.2 GTS seamlessly delivers 541hp to the rear wheels and the 911 has perhaps never been more fun.
