The Targa name reminds us of the history of Porsche and the introduction of the magnificent Targa model lineup. First introduced in 1965, the Targa took the world by storm as the first safety cabriolet with a fixed roll bar. Named after the legendary Targa Florio where Porsche had great success. Porsche won Targa Florio 11 times and is the most successfull manufactur to participate.
