Technology & Performance. The 911 Targa 4S is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged six-cylinder boxer engine, delivering 450 hp and a top speed of 304 km/h. Combined with the PDK transmission, the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds. What makes the Targa special is not only its technology, but also its history. The name Targa refers to the legendary Targa Florio, the famous Sicilian road race in which Porsche achieved great success. The distinctive Targa concept, with its fixed roll bar and unique roof mechanism, has been a unique Porsche tradition for decades and combines the open-air driving experience of a convertible with the appearance and practicality of a coupe.
