The 992.1 Turbo S closes the book on the pure-ICE Turbo S. The 992.2 introduced a hybridized Turbo S for MY2026, with even faster numbers. That change also cements 2021–2025 cars as the last of their kind—a detail some collectors will care about.
If you want one 911 to do everything—slice through weather, punish motorways, play on back roads, and never feel temperamental—the 992.1 911 Turbo S is the answer. Spec rear-steer and (if you live on smooth, fast roads) PASM Sport; add PDCC for bumpy terrain; keep front-axle lift for peace of mind. Verify PCM 6.0 if Android Auto matters, and make sure the PAA hardware is healthy. Do that, and you’ll own a car that’s faster than just about anything you’ll meet, without the compromises that usually come with that speed.
