There’s very little to rival the joy of an open-top classic 911.
It is an experience to be savoured, not necessarily about flat-out speed (although this 993 is more than capable of that!), but of cruising along on those warm summer evenings, taking the long way round to your destination, just because…….
This 1996 example features the favoured 285 bhp Varioram air-cooled 6 cylinder, which has seen plenty of care with regular maintenance and no less than 17 stamps in the service book. Even in recent times, where mileage has been minimal (just a few hundred each year), the owners have continued the upkeep. It has covered less than 2,000 miles since Williams Crawford previously supplied it back in late 2016.
