Model history

The Porsche 993 is considered the last expansion stage of the classic 911 with air-cooled boxer engine and was produced from 1993 to 1998. It combined the timeless design of the model series with significantly advanced technology - such as a new aluminum chassis and six-speed gearbox as standard. In addition to the Carrera variants, Targa and Turbo models as well as all-wheel drive versions such as the Carrera 4S were also available. Particularly striking: the wide turbo rear end of the S models.
