INTERIOR
The cabin of the 993 is one of teutonic efficiency and excellent ergonomics. Porsche of this vintage were built solidly and this example is the perfect case in point – the switch gear for instance feels beautifully damped with a perfectly defined moment and weight of action. The Marble Grey leatherette is a wonderful match to the black exterior and light floods in when the steel sunroof is open, adding to the driver and passenger experience.

The electrically adjustable seats are supportive and offer good location when cornering hard. There is little sign of use anywhere in the interior and the seat bolsters remain free of any rips or tears.

The rear seats have clearly seen little use and can be folded flat to add further storage to the interior and indeed protect the leather.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Known internally as the M64/20, this 993 benefits from the updated VarioRam engine, which altered the length of the air intake ducts to enhance low and mid range driveability.

On test, the engine feels fit and strong with a beautifully elastic powertrain whilst gearbox, clutch and all wheel drive system operate smoothly without fault.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES
The 18 inch turbo technology alloys present in excellent condition shod in a set of Pirelli tyres showing plenty of tread on all four corners.

Recently replaced pads and discs are also in great condition; stopping the car quickly and smoothly.
