The 993 Carrera 4S belongs to the 1995 model year, which closes the gap between the normal 993 with a naturally aspirated engine and the 993 Turbo. Visually a cross between a Carrera and a Turbo, the "4S" is for many the most beautiful of the 993 series. The wide body including the front bumper and side skirts, as well as the chassis and the brakes come from the 993 Turbo – but the massive rear spoiler was omitted. This results in an exciting combination of sportiness and elegance, of which just under 6,950 units were produced.
