No classic has evolved as beautifully as the Porsche 911: the high-tech supercar widely praised for its all-round usability. Compared to the air-cooled 993, this 996 offered more comfort, power [300 hp], safety systems [eight airbags and Traction Control], and yet still retained that iconic appearance for a relatively limited investment. A timeless design, interpreted in a contemporary way with various ‘X’ options from Porsche Exclusiv Manufaktur. In addition to the extensive leather trim in the interior, many panels and instruments are stylishly finished with aluminium, carbon, and stainless steel. However, your attention was likely drawn to the stunning Rothmans wrap, which we had custom-made. The legendary victories in the Dakar Rally and Le Mans [1980s] are part of Porsche’s rich history. Nevertheless, this blue and white livery with stripes, advertising, and white 19″ Carrera Classic wheels looks fantastic on the Coupé.

The vehicle in detail

Unlike the 90s, the turn signals are transparent all around, and the model looks more modern thanks to the xenon headlights and stainless steel tailpipes. Inside, we find nothing but high-quality materials, including the coveted 3-spoke steering wheel, a Premium Sound system, and extensive PCM infotainment. Contrast can be found in the aluminium door sill plates, the instrument panel dials, the stitching in the leather, and the carbon/aluminum finish of the gear lever and handbrake handle. The whole feels well-maintained, smells fresh, and has remained in good condition over the past 26 years. Aside from appearances, the maintenance history and technical condition are exceptionally good: everything is extensively documented, and the much-discussed IMS bearing, clutch, and radiators/condensers were replaced in 2024. Since arrival, we have invested over €5,000 in maintenance so that the next owner can enjoy it worry-free.

This Porsche has a new price of € 129,165 and gained its first driving experience in Koblenz, Germany, with a business owner who drove it until early 2004 [33,400 km] and sold it to a Dutch Porsche specialist [Schmidt]. Subsequently, it had six private owners, changing hands on 21-1-2008, 18-11-2008, 18-8-2012, 13-12-2014, and 5-1-2016. We received the car in August 2023, had all work carried out, and drove it sporadically ourselves for a few months. The cosmetic modifications [3M wrap, rims, paintwork, wheel spacers, etc.] cost approximately € 5,500 and were executed professionally. Under the heading ‘documents’ on our website, you will find detailed photos of all documentation. Maintenance was performed exclusively at brand dealers and specialists. The vehicle has a demonstrably accident-free history, and the original color is Arctic Silver Metallic. An independent pre-purchase inspection is always possible.

In addition to the options listed above, this 911 is equipped with a sunroof, rear wiper, heated seats, CD changer, dimming exterior mirrors, side airbags, a green stripe in the windshield, Climate Control with air conditioning, and Porsche Crests in the headrests. As the specification suggests, this 911 features four-wheel drive with the standard chassis, a differential, and PSM [Porsche Stability Management]. An original Class 3 alarm system [with SCM certificate] and Pioneer infotainment [including Apple CarPlay / Android Auto] were retrofitted. The exhaust silencer has been slightly modified to enhance the driving experience. A 6-speed manual transmission suits the character of this sports car well.

Maintenance was stamped at 13,242km [27-7-2001], 22,817km [2-9-2002], 42,567km [25-1-2005], 51,881km [19-1-2006], 67,549km [8-2-2008], 79,053km [12-6-2009], 84,979km [21-4-2010], 86,898km [27-5-2011], 88,829km [8-10-2012], 98,328km [8-10-2013], 99,980km [17-9-2014], 100,638km [23-2-2015], 120,022km [15-10-2015], 147,623km [10-2-2017], 164,889km [8-2-2018], 181,556km [11-1-2019], 196,940km [20-1-2020], 235,691km [22-1-2023] and 244,889km [8-3-2024]. During the last service, the ABS pump and sensor, front wishbones, oil, and filters were replaced by PS Rispens in Alteveer. The battery was replaced in 2023. The MOT will be renewed upon delivery. All electronics are working properly. The engine sounds silky smooth [without smoke], even on a cold start, and the gearbox shifts without problems. There are no faults present.
