Launched in 2001 to address criticisms of the first generation, the Porsche 996 Carrera 4 Phase 2 marks a major evolution toward technological maturity. It ditches the famous “fried egg” headlights in favor of the Turbo’s almond-shaped headlights, while benefiting from a stiffer chassis and a significantly improved interior finish.
Under the hood, its flat-6 engine increased from 3.4 to 3.6 liters, boosting power to 320 hp and delivering more generous torque thanks to the Variocam Plus system. Its permanent all-wheel drive ensures exemplary traction and enhanced safety, making it the ultimate versatile sports car, capable of handling all weather conditions.
This 996 was delivered new on October 3, 2001, at the Porsche Center in Luxembourg.
It arrived in France in 2015. Its current owner purchased it in 2023.
