In 2003, to mark the 40th anniversary of the Porsche 911, an anniversary model based on the 996 Carrera was produced. Its engine delivers 18 kW (25 hp) more than the standard model, generating a maximum of 254 kW (345 hp). The car has a special silver-gray paint finish, which is otherwise only used on the Carrera GT. The front apron comes from the 4S or Turbo model. The highly polished 18-inch wheels were not available as standard on any other model in the 996 series. Inside, the car, of which Porsche produced a total of 1,963 units, was fitted with special leather upholstery as standard. Other standard additional equipment on the special models included:

• Porsche Stability Management (PSM)

• Sports seats with seat backs painted in the vehicle color

• Automatic climate control
• CD radio

• Anniversary badge on the center console with sequential edition number
• The vehicle on offer is in almost immaculate condition and has been serviced regularly. According to the previous owner, it has never been involved in an accident. The purchase price also includes a custom-made luggage set.
