The vehicle in detail

The Carrera 4S in the Cabriolet version was only produced between 2003 – 2005 and used the wider body of the 996 Turbo, which gave the car a decidedly more aggressive look.

From the outside, the Carrera 4 S Cabriolet sported the same front bumper as the Turbo, as well as the rear fenders nearly the same as the Turbo except for missing the side air intakes.

However, the benefits of the Turbo were not only aesthetic, in fact, the 4S also shared with it the stiffer suspensions which improved the handling and the brakes, also derived from the Turbo.

The three-layer canvas top closes and opens electrically in 20 seconds, even when moving up to 50 km/h

Among the 996 the CARRERA 4S CABRIOLETit is certainly one of the most interesting versions from a collector’s point of view, which is already seeing an increase in interest and quotation
