For just under € 21,630 (net), a small rear-left damage to the rear of the vehicle and a small crack in the front bumper were repaired in a professional bodywork company in 2013, an appraisal including photos is available. Apart from this accident damage, the GT3 is in its current condition in a clean condition, the silver paint coat is a special color ex works and is called "Arctic Silver Metallic". The body of the GT3 has been repainted without any complaints, no external defects can be identified due to the apparently well-executed repainting. The car has been accident-free since the current owner bought it. At the front there is an original Clubsport bumper, which adorns this 996 ex works: It is not scratched or broken. The striking rear wing impresses with its imposing appearance, there are also no discrepancies to be found here.
800 kilometers ago, new Pirelli tires were mounted on original GT3 rims in very good condition in 2014. According to the owner, there are no defects in the area of the brakes, the condition can be called good, the chassis shows no discrepancies and is also in good condition.
Full-shell leather seats in black with an embossed Porsche crest characterize the interior, neither stains nor cracks can be seen, the entire interior is in an undamaged condition, all switches work. Like the brake lever, the gearshift lever is made of stainless steel and decorated with Porsche lettering, and GT3 lettering is incorporated on the center console cover. After decoding some M-codes, the following equipment can be found in the GT3: 288 – headlight cleaning system, 441 – radio preparation, 567 – windshield with green wedge, 571 – activated carbon filter, 573 – automatic air conditioning, 601 – Litronic main headlights (xenon), 697 – CD radio Becker Porsche CDR23. The following features are included in the GT3 as exclusive Porsche equipment: XPA – three-spoke steering wheel, XSM – seat belts in maritime blue, X70 – door sill cover in metal with embossed model name. The characteristic five round instruments all provide important information about the GT3, all displays are fully functional, the odometer currently shows a reading of 35,461 kilometers. The mileage can be traced through a partially kept checkbook and former TÜV reports.
The GT3 engine is still based on the tried and tested crankcase with a central seam, the so-called Mezger block, which was named after its legendary creator Hans Mezger. With a displacement of 3.6 liters and an output of 381 hp, one of the GT3s catapults from zero to 100 in less than 5 seconds. The gears are sorted using a 6-speed manual gearbox. According to the current owner, there are no defects in the technology area, a service with a brake fluid change was carried out at km 17,985 in 2010, a last oil change was done in 2018 at a mileage of 34,800, the fuel pump was recently in October 2021 with a mileage of 35,368 new arrivals.
According to the owner, the underbody of the 996 GT3 is in a damage-free condition, according to the holder, a new TÜV is due as a pending work and a fresh maintenance work may need to be carried out.
