Porsche 996.2 GT3
Highlights
- PCCB | Leather "Elephant Ear" Bucket Seats
- Genuine OEM Clubsport Rollcage
- Fantastic Service History
Finished in Gloss Black over Black interior and Black/Silver contrast alloys, this facelift 996 GT3 is a mean looking example. Optioned from factory with Carbon Ceramic brakes & leather “Elephant Ear” fixed bucket seats, the previous owner decided to retrofit a genuine Porsche OEM Clubsport roll cage to complete the look. Beyond the fantastic spec, this GT3 also benefits from a comprehensive service history compiled in an inch-thick file, leaving no doubt about the care it’s received from its 5 previous keepers.
Porsche made significant updates to the GT3 for 2004 model year, using the 2002 996 facelift including headlights that were differentiated from the entry-level Boxster. Engine power output rating was raised to 280 kW (381 PS) and torque to 385 Nm (284 lb⋅ft), 80% of which was available from 2,000 rpm. This bump in power, along with the improved suspension geometry and other tweaks from Porsche’s newly-formed GT Department, significantly improved not just the performance of the GT3 but also the usability, bringing it into the 21st century.
