Porsche 996.2 GT3

Finished in Gloss Black over Black interior and Black/Silver contrast alloys, this facelift 996 GT3 is a mean looking example. Optioned from factory with Carbon Ceramic brakes & leather “Elephant Ear” fixed bucket seats, the previous owner decided to retrofit a genuine Porsche OEM Clubsport roll cage to complete the look. Porsche made significant updates to the GT3 for 2004 model year, using the 2002 996 facelift including headlights that were differentiated from the entry-level Boxster. Engine power output rating was raised to 280 kW (381 PS) and torque to 385 Nm (284 lb⋅ft), 80% of which was available from 2,000 rpm. This bump in power, along with the improved suspension geometry and other tweaks from Porsche’s newly-formed GT Department, significantly improved not just the performance of the GT3 but also the usability, bringing it into the 21st century.
