On the outside, you are greeted by a GT silver exterior that, with its partially painted rims in gray, creates a nice contrast. Behind are red brake calipers that, together with the characteristic rear light bar, nicely contribute color to an otherwise subdued exterior. The convertible top is dark brown and provides a clue as to what awaits. Open the driver’s door and you are greeted by an equally dark brown interior with leather on practically all panels. Step over the illuminated steps and take a seat in the driver’s seat and your eye immediately falls on all the details that are almost magically sewn into the brown color that Porsche itself calls Cocoa. Delicate contrast stitching meets aluminum details in the center console, both in the handbrake and also in the PDK selector. The memory seats proudly bear the Porsche crest embossed in the headrests and are both heated and ventilated. The details inside are many, but it is the whole that they constitute that makes this silver over brown 997 something truly special.
A very well-maintained example with a hefty equipment list to say the least. Nice miles and an equally nice history.
