By many considered the pinnacle of the entire GT3 RS lineup – only surpassed by the 4.0 RS. Around 1.619 examples of the 997.2 GT3 RS have left the production plant in Stuttgart-Zuffenhausen. A sister car was used by the Porsche AG in 2010 to compete at the 24h of the Nurburgring driven back and forth on the road between Stuttgart and Adenau and finishing 13th overall and 4th in class averaging almost 153 km/h in the race. A thing to never to be repeated in a road going Porsche and therefore the sister car is now proudly on display in the Porsche museum.
The car offered here is wearing the same iconic paintwork of carrara white with guards red contrasts used on the 24h contender. In comparison however our car has never been used on the racetrack, has a clean DME and is a one owner example with 7.450 km recorded in overall flawless collector grade condition.
The car has been optioned with the very rare lightweight bucket seats also used on the Carrera GT and 9 X-options as follows.
XLG Lid of Storage Bin in Alcantara with Model Logo
XMJ Rear Section of Center Console in Carbon
XXZ Footrest in Sports Look
XFJ Instrument Dials in Carrara White
XGB Decorative Dashboard Trim, Carbon
XGC Gear Lever in Carbon/Alcantara
