what makes the 997.2 turbo s special: it came with an extra 30 hp and 36 lb-ft of torque over the standard 997.2 turbo, along with a number of performance features as standard. that includes the sport chrono package turbo with dynamic engine mounts and an overboost function. you also got porsche torque vectoring (ptv) and porsche carbon ceramic brakes (pccb), which save weight, reduce brake dust, and help improve responsiveness. compared to earlier 911s, the 997.2 hits a sweet spot in terms of size, with many considering it to be the last right-sized turbo that still aligns with the classic proportions and philosophy of the 930.
