This gorgeous 911 convertible in the sought-after Triple Black – naturally fully leather-upholstered, as befits a Porsche – is an excellent example of what can (also) "happen" when the list of previous owners is endless. Specifically, I am the sixth owner, and I have not regretted for a second purchasing the Carrera at the beginning of July this year.
Why? Because it is quite obvious that each of the previous owners has put a lot of love and care into the convertible. Where should I start?
Perhaps with the equipment. The extras include (each with code) 249 Tiptronic S (automatic transmission with manual shift option) / 342 seat heating / 454 cruise control / 567 Windshield with green tint (a darker strip at the top of the windshield) / 635 ParkAssist (parking system, usually rear) / 666 Telephone module for PCM (integration of a mobile phone into Porsche Communication Management) / 670 Navigation module for PCM (adds GPS navigation to the PCM) / 692 CD changer (6-disc) (usually installed in the trunk or under the front hood) / XLF sports exhaust system (an exhaust system designed for a sportier and more aggressive sound)…
Sorry, I know that all of this is more than familiar to every 911 enthusiast here...
The original Porsche 911/997 19-inch Turbo S rims are fitted with the following summer tires, which the previous owner purchased new on April 9, 2025 (for EUR 910):
2 x BRIDGESTONE 295/30 ZR19 (100Y) TL POTENZA SPORT
2 x BRIDGESTONE 235/35 ZR19 (91Y) TL POTENZA SPORT
And this with a mileage of 129,033 km. That means they have been driven for almost exactly 7,000 km, around 6,250 of which were by me, as the car had 129,750 km on the clock when I bought it. These are fantastic tires that make the car easy to control in any situation.
Winter tires on alloy rims are also included in the offer, as well as a hardtop in the same color as the car, which appears to have been used very rarely and for which I immediately purchased a suitable protective cover.

This 997 is a repaired, non-smoking vehicle. The two minor accidents were caused by the previous owner, who described them as follows in the purchase agreement:
"1. Someone failed to yield the right of way. Despite braking and swerving from 50 mph, the other party involved in the accident (coming from a side street) hit me on the front right fender.
2. We were driving parallel towards a traffic light and the vehicle next to me left its lane. The other driver did not notice this, and both vehicles sustained paint damage due to the side contact." (The bill amounted to EUR 550)
You can't see a thing. Anyone who is seriously interested can of course see for themselves during a test drive.
Let's move on to the care that has been given to the car. I will only mention the major items from the last five years here; the buyer will receive the folder with all the receipts anyway. Women also love this model.

That's all. The car drives almost like a "modern" Porsche (or, fortunately, not, but that's a matter of opinion, of course...). It's a little more driver-oriented, which is really fun.
It has almost become my daily driver, and my slightly older 2017 Range Rover is increasingly taking a back seat.
Although a 997 isn't that rare on the roads, it always elicits sympathy from passers-by or other drivers, and I often get a "thumbs up."
I'm still wrestling with myself as to whether I should really give it up. Because, as they say here on Elferspot, so beautifully and so true:
"The first generation of the Porsche 997 already enjoys a reputation as an upcoming classic. It is the first modern Porsche 911 to revisit the design language of the original model. It is the last Porsche 911 Carrera with port fuel injection. Although it was more of an evolution than a revolution in technical terms, prices are significantly higher than those of its predecessor. No matter which model you choose, the Porsche 997.1 retains its value and offers mature driving dynamics. It is unassuming, yet exciting. The 997.1 is not a sensible car, but it is not unreasonable either. It is a thoroughbred sports car, but it is not impractical. It is a true Porsche 911."
