Porsche 997 Targa 4S

Targa 4S was introduced in 2006 as a version for the Porsche Carrera 4 – 997. While it was heavier than its coupe sibling, the powerful engine helped it to be almost as quick its coupe brother. The 997 Targa was offered as both a base 997 Targa 4 and the Targa 4S option. Both were offered in exclusively all-wheel-drive format. The base car got a 3.6 litre flat 6 while the more powerful 3.8 litre flat 6 was the engine offered in the Targa 4S. The Targa 4S was a great open top 911 that offered just as much fun as the Carrera 4S Cabriolet without sacrificing the dynamic abilities of a hardtop. It was also more practical than the drop top 911.
