With its distinctive red color and air-cooled engine, the Super N 308 was designed for medium-duty agricultural tasks. Farmers particularly valued its durability and relatively simple maintenance, making it a popular choice throughout Europe.
The fully restored model you have represents not only functional agricultural history but also craftsmanship and passion. The restoration has returned the tractor to its original condition, making it an impressive heirloom today, both technically and visually. It is thus not only a working machine but also a piece of history on wheels.
A beautifully restored example—a very rare predecessor to the Master: the Porsche Super “Der kleiner Master”.
The engine runs superbly and the transmission shifts smoothly. Technically, the tractor has been fully overhauled and fitted with new gaskets, bearings, thrust bearings, oil seals, and piston rings. In addition, new bushings and pistons have been installed, and the cylinder heads have been resurfaced and re-seated.
The electrical system has also been completely renewed: a brand-new wiring harness and lighting have been installed.
The brakes have been completely renewed, including the brake springs. The tractor stands on large, wide new tires, mounted on the extremely rare Master wide-set cast wheels.
In short: a beautifully restored example that will only increase in value—an excellent investment.
The Porsche comes with all papers and documentation. Engine and chassis numbers match (matching numbers). For the connoisseurs: this is the very first model from 1959 with overdrive gears. Only 45 were produced, and this is number 42 (as visible on the chassis number: day 12, month 9, number 42). Extremely rare—this almost never comes up for sale anymore.
In addition, this is the model with an adjustable front axle, a version that is rarely offered. Equipped with a very rare transmission—a true collector’s item.
Equipped with a lifting mechanism and three PTOs. Also features a new starter motor, alternator, and battery.
You won’t come across a restoration of this caliber very often.
