At its core is a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six, delivering performance well beyond factory 993 Turbo output. RUF’s enhancements—centered around upgraded turbocharging, fueling, and engine calibration—result in exceptionally strong acceleration and high-speed capability, with period performance rivaling contemporary supercars. Power is sent through a 6-speed manual transmission to an all-wheel-drive system, offering both traction and driver engagement.
