At GranTurismo, we share our passion for cars with our customers. Our mission has always been to make car leasing and sales more transparent, secure, and fair, so that more people can make their car dreams come true on the right terms.
GranTurismo was originally founded by four passionate car enthusiasts who wanted to challenge an industry that was often perceived as confusing. Since then, the company has grown, and today GranTurismo is 100% owned by Autocentralen, one of Denmark’s most well-established automotive groups. Several of the employees who helped build GranTurismo remain an active part of day-to-day operations, ensuring that the company’s values and DNA live on.
Autocentralen was founded in 1976 by the married couple Knud and Karen Jensen. From humble beginnings as a used-car dealership at a gas station, the company has grown into one of Denmark’s largest automotive groups, with more than 500 employees and annual revenue exceeding one billion kroner. In 2026, Autocentralen will also celebrate its 50th anniversary.
